"The Plumber Man last called on August 7th, for the second of 2 jobs replacing taps.He came highly recommended by service users at Age Concern and did not disappoint. Prompt to reply, and an extremely fast worker who arrived with all the necessary equipment and took any debris with him when he left. Elderly people living alone need to feel safe in their dealings with workers who enter their homes. In this respect too, Malcolm fits the bill. I am happy to join the long list of satisfied customers."

"We have been using Malcolm for a number of major jobs (two new showers, new bath, re-configuring pipe work, etc) for a few months, now. "New to the area, we have been lucky enough to find Malcolm’s details and then use his knowledge and skills to repair a number of things in our new house.
He has attended extremely quickly on both occasions we have called him and gone above and beyond what was required in the jobs we asked him to do, which was to fix a leaking shower, leaking toilet, fitting of a new shower and some re-plumbing for a boiler. Unlike the previous job Malcolm did for us, I explained that there was no urgency, but he still came on 6 January (the day after my telephone call) to replace a faulty waste on a wash hand basin and fit a chrome bottle trap to improve the look of the installation. He went to great lengths to make the trap fit onto the plastic pipe through the wall – much greater lengths than I expected. No hesitation in recommending him!"

"Flat below mjne had water on ceiling! Malcolm traced it to a leak under my shower which he obviously had to remove!!! After getting confirmation from Insurance yesterday I rang TPM and as he wad just finishing a job said he could fit me in today as I have family coming for Christmas one of which unable to use the Bath!! Malcolm arrived this morning and I now have shower back and tiles replaced BRILLIANT and he left my shower room almost immaculate!! Certainly recommend TPM to anyone."

"I had a leak on the waste on a wash hand basin. Not life-threatening, but annoying. Other plumbers I managed to speak to were talking about not being able to attend for a week. Yet more had voicemail which did not give a mobile number. I phoned Malcolm around 10.15am. His voicemail gave his mobile number which he answered immediately even though he was on another job. He arrived about 11.10am and had completed the job – including sourcing the necessary parts and replacing the tired-looking waste – by 12.25pm. Very pleased with his promptness, professionalism and price. We shall be very happy to use him again (should the need arise) and to recommend him to others."

"Brilliant work from Malcolm, phoned him mid morning with our problem at my shop in Dorchester, he was on a job in Weymouth and said maybe next day to get to us but he turned up about 4pm that afternoon and fixed the problem, plus I got him to sort the ladies toilets as well (which I forgot to mention previously).

"Malcolm went far beyond the call of duty … and succeeded! The developers forgot to install the plumbing for our water softener. Being Poundbury, it wasn’t acceptable to stick pipes through the outside wall. Malcolm had to take the washing machine out and somehow managed to insert himself into the corner unit in the kitchen (“call me Houdini”) in order to route all the outflows into the drain before it left the house – and he also did a beautiful job with the pipework. The cupboard under the sink now has the water softener and even enough room for spare salt!"

"Our repair was for a flat which we were letting out to tenants.Due to the tenants availability,it was paramount to carry out the repair that same day.It was a Saturday! Despite it being the weekend,Malcolm answered the phone immediately where 6 other companies hadn’t! He assured myself he would attend that same day and also communicated this to our tenants.He had the foresight to attend his supplier for a part prior to attending the flat.This was in fact the exact part required,testimony of Malcolm’s experience in this field.Malcolms foresight ensured the job could be done that day rather than having to wait until the Monday when his supplier re-opened .There was no call out charge despite it being a weekend and not only this,but his repair was some £35 cheaper than an 0800 number I had called which made a standard charge for toilet related repairs irrespective of the fault.I felt that I would certainly recommend Malcolm to any of my friends and felt that he had great integrity and carried out a thorough job.Not only was I impressed,but so were my tenants.A great job done."

"Shortly before our holiday we were alarmed to discover a leak at the foot of a soil pipe inside the house that was boxed in and decorated. Whilst we were on holiday Malcolm cut out relevant sections of plasterboard, removed tiling, and traced the leak to an upstairs bathroom. After repairing the leak (which was caused by a joint poorly made by the original installer) Malcolm replaced the original tiles, so that you would not know they had been removed, and re-boxed in the soil pipe ready for decorating. A very skilful job. Everything was left clean, tidy and in full working order. We would highly recommend Malcolm. It was particularly helpful to have photographs of the progress of the work emailed to us whilst we were on holiday, and of course to come back to a dry house."
